Orval

Orval is one of the protagonists of Wyrd and a character in Sweven. He's Sycamore’s professional partner and best friend.

Personality

He's a knowledgeable person, but still tends to make clumsy mistakes. He became a hunter to stay near his friend, Sycamore. They’re very dependent on each other, the former more-so than the latter. Orval tries to be optimistic most of the time. He also has a problem with being oblivious and sometimes willfully ignorant.

Hobbies: Reading

Likes: Sight-seeing, coffee with milk

Dislikes: Intense conflict, training, monsters

Story

Orval watched Sycamore die, but out of fear and denial, kept this to himself. He tries to continue life as normal when Sycamore suddenly comes back. They get assigned to a connected series of jobs that proves more dangerous than he thought they'd be...

Past

Sycamore and Orval met in their 20s when the the latter was saved by the former from a zombie attack. Neither of the men had any remaining family and they hit it off right away. Orval was seen as a liability to his friend by others, but he continued to try his best.

Abilities

Weapon - Milk (blessed sword) A simple longsword. He named it milk because Sycamore called it “milquetoast”.
